ANALYSIS OF INTEREST GROUPS IN THE CONTEXT OF INSTITUTIONAL ECONOMICS

Summary 

Interest groups are a necessary precondition and an integral part of a democratic state. The high degree of civic activism plays an important role in the development of the state. The government elected by the people is accountable for receiving information from members of the public on issues that are problematic for them. Through the organizational structure of the interest group, the right tactics and resources for action, the likelihood of achieving the common goals of the community through joint efforts, the chances of which were minimized by individual forces, is greatly increased.

This article focuses on the research aspects of interest groups and discusses the formation, classification, scope of activities, and tools to influence the desired outcome in the context of an institutional economy.
